OCIT curriculum review underway

  • May 05, 2007

The school year is closing fast.  As students prepare for exams and complete final projects, OCIT faculty and staff are reviewing the curriculum in anticipation of future classes.

Academic year 2006-2007 was a banner year for developments in practicum sections, giving students a glimpse of their future in ministry work through opportunities to apply their classroom learning hands-on.

Now, this year's curriculum review is shifting focus towards examining the need for balancing theoretical and practical elements of the OCIT curriculum, and expanding the knowledge-base of students to include new developments in research, as well as application within the information technology field.

OCIT will issue a report about the progress of the curriculum review in late summer 2007.
