This spring, Olivet Institute of Technology (OIT) launches its weekly seminar program to promote student and faculty research and dialogue on the subject of technology development.

"The seminars are extremely effective for facilitating communication between faulty and students," commented Professor and Dean of Olivet Institute of Technology Ching Cheng Lee. "They also contribute to research development," he said.

At the seminars, which take place Fridays in Olivet University's main campus building, invited lecturers report on recent developments by OIT research teams and receive feedback on their class activities and projects.

"This semester's seminars are very promising," said OIT Program Director William Wong. "Students' involvement in interesting and exciting projects and research is helping them develop their abilities for mission service and other career opportunities."
