OIT Summer Plans Include Lab Research Program
As the Spring 2008 semester comes to an end, Olivet Institute of Technology (OIT) is gearing up for a hands-on lab research program, to be held during the upcoming summer session.
The program will feature faculty-directed student projects and independent studie in the area of technology research and development.
The program is a result of survey data collected from OIT student body earlier this year. Results indicated high student interest in pursuing opportunities to implement what they learn in real world applications. Students expressed a desire to further solidify their knowledge with activities that include hands-on lab technology research.
Final planning is underway among faculty and student participants in the OIT Seminar series.
