OIT and OCAD Students Participate in Macworld Conference

  • January 21, 2009
Students of Olivet Institute of Technology (OIT) and Olivet College of Art & Design (OCAD) took part in the annual Macworld Conference at the nearby Moscone Center. The five-day event attracted experts all over the world and featured the latest in technology from Apple Inc. and other companies.

In particular, students who took the Web Design and Technology course in Fall semester 2008 were extremely excited to participate in the conference.  Participants were able to view the latest in design and applications which helped give students new ideas as well as enrich their professional knowledge.

Because of Olivet's location next to San Francisco's famed Moscone Center, OIT and OCAD will continue to guide students to take advantage of the unique opportunity to attend worldwide conferences throughout the year.  The goal is to complement studies within the classroom with real-world exhibitions of cutting edge technology.
